Description

THE ROLE OF LEARNING OUTCOMES IN SUPPORTING DIALOGUE BETWEEN THE LABOUR MARKET AND EDUCATION AND TRAINING; THE CASE OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING

This study consists on a comparative analysis of 10 selected qualifications in terms of learning outcomes in the 10 countries included in the study. notus-asr is in charge of the Spanish case.

For the 10 qualifications in the 10 countries, information is gathered on how qualifications are described in terms of learning outcomes (content/profile of qualifications, learning out-comes intentions). This part also includes national-level contextual information on how learning outcomes are described in general and what roles and responsibilities are attributed to stakeholders in the process of describing learning outcomes.

The data collection is based on desk research (analysis of textual information/written documents). The comparative analysis builds on the analysis of 10 qualifications in the 10 countries covered in the study

One important result of the study is the development of a methodology for comparing qualifications across countries (in Europe and beyond) in a systematic way. It is expected that the experience within this project contributes to further development of this strand of research.
