Description

HYBRID WORKPLACES IN THE EU: PROVISION OF CASE STUDIES FROM THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORS

The main objective of the research is to explore and understand how companies (and other organisations) are adapting their organisation and working practices around hybrid models. This will be done through case studies of companies/entities in the public and private sector in 4 countries (Lithuania, Finland, Austria and Spain). These case studies aim to:

  • Getting a better understanding of the hybrid work models across the case study organisations.
  • Analysing similarities and differences (and patterns) in work practices related to hybrid work.
  • Analysing the effects of these practices in terms of organisational outcome
  • Analysing the effects of these practices in terms of workers’ working conditions and job quality outcomes (including but not limited to working time, working time flexibility and work-life balance, work intensity, ergonomics, social support, task discretion/autonomy, training and learning opportunities, career advancement, etc.)
  • Identifying lessons learned for effective work practices which can be useful for HR managers, employee representatives, social partners and relevant public authorities regulating work.
