TERRITORIAL DIAGNOSIS FOR EMPLOYMENT IN PLANA ALTA NORD AND MAESTRAT LITORAL (AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY OF VALENCIA)

Both diagnoses are part of the Avalem Territori program of the Valencian Employment and Training Service (SERVEF), which aims at territorial adaptation of active labour market policies. The objective of the diagnosis is to serve as a basis for the design of a process of participatory territorial development, promoted by the agents of the territory and attending to its potential and endogenous resources. In particular, more than 300 socio-economic indicators have been analysed and more than 60 key agents have been interviewed, analysing the results in a participatory forum. The study provides the keys for adapting active labour market policies to the territorial specificities, with the aim of increasing their effectiveness and impact, always within the framework established by the competent administrations in the design of these policies.
