THE IMPACT OF GLOBALISATION ON VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING

The objective of the study is to carry out the report on the impact of globalization on vocational education and training in Spain. The aim is to analyze whether the technological, economic and social changes that globalization entail are affected by the qualification requirements and the professional competencies of the companies and to what extent these new requirements influence the definition of qualifications and the training offer.

The sectors of automobile, transport, ICT, the residential sector and the health sector are studied.

For example, in the transport sector, European agreements and regulations have forced changes in the professional profiles of the sector and have been incorporated into the training content of vocational training qualifications and certificates of professionalism.
