DESIGNING DEEPTECH WITH A GENDER PERSPECTIVE

This project aims to introduce gender balance in the teams by increasing the participation of women in the projects promoted by the MWC Foundation. In addition, it also aims to introduce the gender dimension in the Collider Programme and in the projects in a transversal way. To this end, first of all, an analysis of the state of art will be carried out through interviews and documentary analysis of existing guides. Afterwards, work will be done to define an Action Plan indicating key actions and indicators in both areas (gender balance in the team and gender dimensions in the projects) and in the different phases of the process. The results of the work will be two sets of guidelines that will address the following questions in a practical way:

• How can a Deep Tech venture builder programme increase the number of female participants?
• How can an intersectional gender perspective be introduced in a transversal way into the development of technology, in this case, deep tech?
