Employment and industrial relations

Analyse changes and trends in the labour market is a key element to designing policies capable of generating more and better jobs. In notus-asr we study the labour market paying particular attention to the analysis of the quality of employment and existing inequalities, especially those related to gender and age. Through a multidisciplinary approach that includes specialists in quantitative and qualitative methodology, we strive to produce knowledge that can be politically useful.

Industrial relations are a defining element of the European social model which allows the collective regulation of employment relations. In notus-asr we research industrial relations at European and national levels, highlighting the importance of a comparative perspective. Our intention is to generate knowledge that can strengthen and make social dialogue and collective bargaining more effective at different levels.
