COLLECTION OF GOOD PRACTICES OF NON-MONETARY MEASURES IN THE AREA OF WOMEN AND POVERTY
The European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) launched study “Collection of Good Practices of Non-Monetary Measures in the area of Women and Poverty”. The study forms part of the strategic programme of gender mainstreaming in the Institute and has two main objectives. Firstly, to analyse to what extent European countries have developed a methodology which includes the gender dimension for the design, implementation and monitoring of policies to confront poverty, placing special emphasis on the collation and use of appropriate data. In second place, identify a collection of good practices of non-monetary measures in the area of women and poverty in two specific groups: in-work poverty and poverty of people with immigrant origin. Maria Caprile formed part of the coordinating team, together with Alberto Merolla (FGB) and the experts Danièle Meulders (Belgium) and Ursula Barry (Ireland).
