ANALYSIS AND PROPOSAL FOR ORGANISING THE VOCATIONAL TRAINING RESOURCES OF THE CITY OF BARCELONA
The aim of this project is to draw up the map of the vocational training resources of the City of Barcelona. In the first place, a typology of services has been elaborated and the kind of services to be included have been specified in order to delimit the extension of the map. Secondly, a template has been prepared to collect all the information regarding the training centres and their offer. In third place, the information has been collected through the different districts of the city and the collaborating entities in the different training activities that are carried out in each district and neighbourhood. Furthermore, collaboration agreements have also been established with other entities that have information and guides on the offer of training in the city. Fourth, all the information has been analysed to draw conclusions about the main characteristics of the training offer in the city, establishing its coverage and shortcomings by groups, territories and specialties. Finally, based on the conclusions of the analysis, a proposal has been made to consolidate an organizational model of vocational training in Barcelona.
