EDUCATION FOR RESPONSIBLE DEMOCRATIC CITIZENSHIP – DEMOCRAT

DEMOCRAT is a project funded by the HORIZON EU programme. Led by the University of Barcelona, the project has 10 partners from 8 countries: Tallinn University (Estonia), Helsingin Yliopisto (Finland), Hochshule Düsseldorf (Germany), Uniwersytet Jagiellonsku (Poland), Dublin City University (Ireland), Foundation for global governance and sustainability (Belgium), Stichting international parents Alliance (The Netherlands), European Universities Continuing Education Networks (The Netherlands).

The aim of the project is to develop a European competence framework for responsible democratic citizenship, and appropriate pedagogical frameworks, which at the end of the project with other materials will be included in a toolbox available to educational communities and universities or other training institutions for the training of teachers and lecturers in primary and secondary education. It should be noted that these materials will be tested in educational communities in each project partner country
