Legal Status

NOTUS Investigación social aplicada (notus asr), is constituted as an entity under the Organic Law 1/2002, of 22 March, and complementary rules, with legal capacity and full capacity to act, not for profit.

Its registered office is at Jonqueres N.º 16, 9. C.P. 08003 Barcelona, it is registered in the National Register of Associations of the Ministry of the Interior, Section 1, National Number 602448.

Mission

NOTUS aims to promote applied social research and the training of social researchers.
In order to achieve these aims, the following activities related to the promotion of applied social research will be carried out, paying special attention to the fields of education, work, local development and sustainability:

Elaboration of studies and reports.
Providing technical assistance to public and private entities for the design, management and evaluation of programmes and policies.
Promote and organise training courses, seminars, workshops and conferences.
To promote publications and other initiatives to disseminate social research.
