COMPARATIVE STUDY ABOUT THE QUALITY OF EMPLOYMENT IN THE EUROPEAN UNION
The objective of the study was to carry out a comparative analysis of the quality of employment in Spain from the Improvements in Living and Working Conditions Survey (Eurofound). Two basic aspects were taken into consideration: stability and security in work and a decent salary. The analysis had the following specific objectives: 1) identify the distinct segments of employment according to quality, 2) analyse the relationship between the different dimensions of quality, 3) analyse the composition of these segments from the double perspective of corporate policies and the characteristics of the active population and, 4) compare the distribution of employment according to its quality in Spain and other European Union countries.
