Pablo Sanz de Miguel
Doctor in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
Doctor in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. His areas of interest are European governance of employment, industrial relations, employment and working conditions and employment policies and vocational training.
Since April 2013 he has been a researcher at Notus, having coordinated a European study on the European Semester and several European studies about the representativeness of the social partners in several sectors. He has also participated in studies on active labour market policies, the governance of dual vocational training and the situation in the labour market and comparison of practices targeted at Young People in different Member States to stimulate their participation in STEM studies (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
Currently, he is coordinating the European study “Analysis of the impact of fraudulent forms of employment in working conditions, inequality and business competition”; participates as a national researcher in a European Commission study on posted workers; is part of the core team, as senior researcher, in the Eurofound comparative study on “Long-term youth unemployment: Characteristics and policy responses”, and work as national correspondent for the Eurofound observatories.
