This is a public-private cooperation initiative within the Dutch VET system related to the (technical) training of operators in the food sector. A total of 3 types of training courses are offered at the basic and intermediate level of VET. The aim of the initiative is to work on the basis of a shared vision between the training centre and companies to meet the demands of these companies. In this way it is possible to adapt the training to the professional practice through a process of updating skills and constant innovation. |
Family Pig.
By Frank Wind, one of the founders of Family Pig. The initiative is based on creating profitable pig farms, of accessible quality, where animal welfare, food safety and harmony with the environment go hand in hand, especially due to slurry. The farms linked to the Family-Pig initiative receive from them the supply of products and various services to the farmer, especially in the management of the farm through the application of technology.
