Fourth short-term joint staff training event of the project ERASMUS+ NO NEETs in Turin

On October 23rd, 24th and 25th the Agenzia Piemonte Lavoro, partner of the project ERASMUS+ New Opportunities for the Not Employment, Education or Training (NO NEETs) welcomed the other project partners and organized the fourth learning visit about experiences focused on acting with vulnerable young people who neither study nor work, also known as collective nini.

Throughout those three days notus-asr and the other partners had the opportunity to learn about the various youth programs that are being carried out in the different local agencies of Agenzia Piemonte Lavoro. We also had the change to visit the lo Lavoro fair, one of the only training and employment fairs that take place in Italy. Lastly, we got to know about the interesting ENGIM experience, a professional training center.

Other affiliated partners, Ufficio della formazione continua e dell’innovazione – Divisione della formazione professionale del Cantone Ticino, also took part in the event presenting some of the initiatives developed by the Swiss district. The first experience presented was SOSTARE, a social enterprise built as a restaurant-school where they combine economic activity with training. The project of this social enterprise is closely linked to the inclusion of newcomers to the country who are trained with help from the municipalities. The second experience that was shown is the FONDAZIONE IL GABBIANO that works with young people who experience social difficulties and who are 15 to 18 years old and 18 to 30 years old. The objective is helping them in their socio-professional reintegration with a holistic attention, based on the training and the work with several companies that participate in their project.
