Doctor Nuno Boavida is a specialist working in the intersection of technology and labour. He holds a PhD in Technology Assessment from NOVA University of Lisbon since 2015, a M.Sc. in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science since 2001, and a Licenciatura in Industrial Production Engineering from NOVA University of Lisbon (5 years) since 1999. His main research interests are related to the interdisciplinary fields of Science and Technology Studies and Labour studies. He is now working on topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Telework, Algorithm Management, Migrations, Work and Employment. Previously, he was an invited researcher at the Institute for Technology Assessment and System Analysis of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany (2012-16). He is an associate researcher at NOTUS since 2022. He has published several research reports, book chapters and articles in social science journals.
