STRATEGIES FOR IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF WORK IN MANLLEU

The objective of the project is to promote the quality of employment in the municipality of Manlleu through various actions aimed at generating a favorable position of local public opinion towards the improvement of the lowest wages of workers. The internal actions of the city council are also used to take advantage of their purchasing power of goods and services to promote that workers in contracting companies obtain wage improvements above the minimum wage. It is also intended to promote an institutional statement in collaboration with the social and economic agents in the same direction and a local media campaign to promote the joint declaration. On the other hand, it is intended to carry out several pilot actions to improve recruitment of long-term unemployed and preventative actions to improve the standard of living of the most vulnerable families, especially in the area of ​​housing and social care, in collaboration with social services.
