Description
CONDITIONS OF WORK AND EMPLOYMENT OF ICT MOBILE WORKERS
The 2017 Eurofound and ILO study “Working anytime, anywhere. The effects on the world of workdefined ICT mobile workers as those using ICT – such as smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers – for the purposes of work outside the employer’s premises. The study differentiated between high mobile workers (with a high level of frequency and/or number of workplaces); occasional mobile workers (with a low level of frequency and/or number of places) and teleworkers (working mostly from home). The current study aims to provide additional qualitative-based evidence on working and employment conditions of high and occasional mobile workers, including employees and self-employed. It includes case studies in five countries (Spain, France, Denmark, Germany and Estonia).
