NOTUS will support the Rincón de Ademuz county in the definition and implementation of its Regional Economic Development Plan

The Rural Development area of the València Province Government, with the support of NOTUS, is promoting the development of an action plan in Rincón de Ademuz county, which includes a strategy to promote the development of one of the most affected regions of the province due to the phenomenon of depopulation.

This was announced by the deputy for Rural Development, Environment and Forest Risk Prevention, Avelino Mascarell, in a work day that took place at the facilities of the County Council of Rincón de Ademuz in Casas Altas, together with its president and mayor of Castielfabib, Eduardo Aguilar; and in which mayors, councillors, technicians and representatives of the business and associations of the area, as well as technical staff from the Diputació de València, participated.

At the meeting, NOTUS presented the work plan that will be developed in the coming weeks which includes the implementation of a participatory process with interviews to territorial agents, surveys of citizens and a working group to identify priority projects for the territory. These priority projects will be characterized, potential funding sources will be identified and a roadmap for their development will be established.
