Notus participates in the Fourth General Assembly and Knowledge Exchange Event of the INSPIRE project in Krakow

The Notus team actively took part in the annual meetings of the INSPIRE Centre of Excellence on Inclusive Gender Equality in Research & Innovation, held at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Over three days, the international consortium reviewed progress, shared experiences, and planned the final phase of the project.

The Fourth General Assembly of INSPIRE (8–9 October) brought together project partners and members of the Advisory Board in a collaborative setting to reflect on achievements, challenges overcome, and the next steps for the project’s final year. The meeting included thematic working sessions and discussions on how to ensure the sustainability of results beyond the project’s completion. The team also began preparations for the final conference, which will take place in Brussels in 2026.

On 10 October, the Knowledge Exchange Event was also held at the Jagiellonian University, bringing together more than 70 experts in gender equality, research, and public policy from across Europe and Latin America. The event featured keynote presentations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions focused on sustaining institutional change in the face of resistance and strengthening cross-regional cooperation.

Key topics included the impact of anti-gender movements on democracy, collaboration between Europe and Latin America to advance gender equality, and the importance of translating academic knowledge into effective institutional practice. In addition, representatives from the 12 INSPIRE Communities of Practice shared their ongoing work, reflections, and good practices in areas such as sustaining changewidening participationintersectionality, and innovation.

As a project partner, Notus reinforces its commitment to applied research and collective learning aimed at promoting gender equality in the fields of science, technology, and innovation.

INSPIRE demonstrates that collaborative work across regions and disciplines is essential to transform institutions and make real progress towards equality.

With this meeting in Krakow, the INSPIRE project moves into its final stage, consolidating an international network dedicated to generating knowledge and tools to build more inclusive and equitable research systems.
