Notus takes part in the “Climate Change, Participation, and Trust” conference organized by the FOSTER Project
Notus participated as a speaker at the “Climate Change, Participation, and Trust” conference held at the Bruno Kreisky Centre for International Dialogue in Vienna. There, Notus—alongside the Alto Palancia County Council—presented the participatory process carried out in the Alto Palancia county (Castellón, Valencian Region) to design a Climate Change Adaptation Plan.
The conference brought together experts from the University of Vienna and the European Capital of Democracy organization, as well as representatives from six European territories that have worked on citizen participation initiatives for climate change adaptation. This event marks the conclusion of the FOSTER (Future-Oriented Solutions for Environmental Resilience) project, funded by the European CERV program.
Over the past two years, Notus has co-led a process alongside the Alto Palancia County Council to gather and tackle the concerns, priorities, and proposals of civil society organizations regarding the impact of climate change on the region—covering areas such as forest management, agriculture, water management, and health.
