Karsten Krüger profile
Karsten Krüger is Dr. of Sociology (1996 FU-Berlín) and graduate of Social Sciences (1988 – Carl Von Ossietzky University Oldenburg)
Besides working in NOTUS, he is actually working as director of research at the University Rovira I Virgili (Tarragona) being responsible for the coordination of European projects. He was working at Reference Network of Applied Economics XREAP until its closure in 2019 being responsible for its coordination and the preparation of European projects. In parallel he worked until 2018 at the Foundation Conocimiento y Desarrollo as coordinator of the Ranking CYD and the cooperation with the U-Multirank. Additionally, he coordinated a study about governance reforms in European higher education systems, and was responsible for European projects. Previously he worked in different institutional settings in European projects as researchers or coordinator. His fields of expertise is higher education, VET, labour market and innovation processes.
