Notus participates in the 16th  Spanish Congress of Sociology 2022

The 16th Spanish Congress of Sociology took place from June 29 to July 2 2022 in the city of Murcia under the theme “Inequalities, borders and resilience. Sociology for global crises”. It was organized by the Spanish Federation of Sociology and the Department of Sociology of the University of Murcia.

Notus has participated presenting two papers based on European research projects developed in recent years.

On Thursday, June 30, Pablo Sanz (nouts) presented the paper ‘Can work in digital platforms for home food delivery be decent? A comparison of regulatory responses and trade union strategies in Spain and Portugal. The paper was co-authored with António Moniz (NOVA School of Sciences and Technology, Nova Lisboa University), Nuno Boavida (NOVA School of Sciences and Technology, Nova Lisboa University), and Juan Arasanz. It derives from the Crowdwork project, in which notus participated as a partner.

On Friday July 1st, Pablo Sanz presented the paper, written together with Joan Antoni Serra, ‘Participation of social partners in the governance of the dual vocational training system: comparative analysis of Catalonia, Basque Country and Andalusia’. This paper is based on the INVOLVE project, funded by the European Commission and led by notus.
