Final Conference of the SPLIN Project

On the 11nd of February the SPLIN project will celebrate its final conference “Safeguarding labour standards through co-enforcement”.

SPLIN project has explored two different and complementary types of measures aiming to prevent and tackle employers’ circumvention of labour regulation: Co-enforcement actions, defined as the ongoing coordinated efforts of labour inspectorates and social partners to jointly produce labour standard enforcement; and a Transnational trade union enforcement action.

The aim of the conference, held online, is to present and disseminate the project results and discuss the challenges of co-enforcement and transnational trade union enforcement action with social partners and public authorities.  The conference includes sessions where invited scholars and project researchers will present and debate research results. Also sessions where social partners from construction and maritime transport sector from different countries, as well as the European Labour Authority, will discuss enforcement actions based on their own experiences.

There will be simultaneous translation into English, German, Polish and Spanish.
