11th March – TARGET-GEECCO Conference Implementation of Gender Equality Plans in research institutions Collaborate, co-create, co-produce!

We are pleased to announce that registration for the joint  TARGET-GEECCO Conference is open now. The TARGET and GEECCO research and action projects’ online conference will be held on March 11th, 2021. This virtual gathering is thought to report on the contribution of the two Horizon2020-funded projects (2017-2021) in advancing gender equality in research and innovation in Europe and beyond. We aim at removing barriers to gender equality by implementing Gender Equality Plans that are sustainable on time through iterative and reflexive processes, the establishment of Communities of Practice and the use of appropriate tools.

The conference will host first-hand accounts of research performing and research funding institutions in the implementation of Gender Equality Plans. The roundtables will gather contributions from a great variety of policy-makers, gender experts, and practitioners from different contexts and countries. Therefore, this is a unique opportunity to learn about success stories and their context and discuss timely topics on gender equality. While the first panel hinges around different contextual factors that can facilitate more gender-equal institutions, the second panel focuses on gender in teaching, curricula and sexual harassment. Please find here the detailed program of the conference and find more information on the website.

In collaboration with the rest of GEECCO’s and TARGET’s partner institutions, NOTUS invites policy-makers, science and innovation leaders, researchers, and practitioners ready to collaborate, co-create and co-produce gender equality in research and innovation.

Collaborate, co-create, co-produce!

We hope you will join us for a lively discussion!
