Elvira González Gago
Economist with a post-graduate degree in economics and European policy.
Economist with a post-graduate degree in economics and European policy, with more than 15 years of experience specialising in the labour market, employment policies and Spanish social policies also with a comparative perspective with other countries of the European Union as well integrating a gender perspective. She has provided technical assistance to the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality in numerous projects related to the National Action Plans for Social Inclusion from 2001 and evaluation of projects from a gender perspective.
Since 2003 Elvira is the Spanish expert from the European network of experts in labour market and employment policies SYSDEM, the European Observatory of Employment Policy, which works to advise the DG EMPL of the European Commission (http: // ec.europa.eu/social/main.jsp?catId=1086&langId=en). Since 2008 she is also the Spanish expert in the ENEGE network of experts in the fields of employment, social inclusion and gender equality, which advises DG JUST from the European Commission (www.enege.eu).
